The Washington Dynix User
Group would like to extend an invitation to regional Horizon users to attend
our next meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd. As Ameritech Library Services creates and
markets a number of Abridge@ products and
eventually supports one product line, Dynix and Horizon users have much to
share and learn from each other. Another
interest shared by Ameritech Library Services clients in the Northwest is the
joint development work of ALS and WLN.
Our September 23rd
meeting will be from
* Lare
Mischo on Tacoma Public Library=s catalog links to
amazon.com
* Rod Miller, Ft. Vancouver
Regional Library, on Pharos internet access control software
* ALS staff on desktop
management solutions (ALS/NDC partnership)
* Gwen Culp, Timberland
Regional Library, on Telecirc II beta testing
There will also be plenty of
open discussion time during which ALS staff will address issues in product
development, project management, and customer support. Time will be set aside at the end of the
meeting for Dynix and Horizon users to meet separately to discuss individual
concerns.
Driving directions are
attached and coffee will be available at
